AT&T Byron Nelson Golf Event Signs Are A Hole In One

Thanks to our wonderful partners at The Marketing Arm, bluemedia was engaged to produce signage for the AT&T Byron Nelson Golf Classic in both 2015 and 2016. Held in May at the TPC Four Seasons Resort in Irving, TX, the golf classic is the leading fundraiser for charity on the PGA Tour and has raised more than $121 million in its 72 years.

For this project, bluemedia produced 2,850 linear feet of fence mesh, 300 bike barricades, six entry towers, and seven videoboard banners, which meant graphics were installed at the grand entry, in the pavilion, on the 17 green, 18 green, the driving range, media center and VIP Entrance. Hindered by a steady downpour, installation required two and a half days and more than twenty nationally certified installers. Some quick, on-the-fly additions from the client, and never having exact sizes of the videoboard banners made the project a bit more difficult, but with some additional install supervision and improvising, everything fit and look great as attendees began to make their way in and videocameras started to roll.

As G7 color experts and pigment aficionados, we appreciated the fact that The Marketing Arm was particular about making sure the event and brand colors were perfect, and were happy to ensure that everything was up to standard by utilizing multiple match samples for their review. Watching as the event and our participation in the event’s graphics has grown from year-to-year has left us eagerly anticipating the challenges the 2017 season will bring!
