To help with the team’s impressive postseason voyage, bluemedia has overhauled the Kauffman Stadium signage with an amazing array of banners, graphics and wraps to kick off the Royals’ first postseason outing in 29 years.
This was an exciting project. Given a tight timeline, bluemedia was able to design, print, ship, and install all of the signage in under 48 hours. A team of 4 installers used a 21-foot boom lift and scaffolding to complete over 300 banners in the Plaza and parking lots, 6 trivision signs (3-sided, rotating advertisements), a Sprint Bullpen Fascia, MLB wall graphics, Team Shop window graphics, fountain signs, Belfonte Ice Cream Shop graphics, and a Hyvee Cool Zone all before the opening pitch.
With hundreds of thousands of visitors passing through the stadium during the postseason, it was important to create a lasting impression and once in a lifetime experience for the fans. We left no stone unturned. We covered elements as small as the dugout roof and railings to as large as the stadium entrance itself. We even used large floor graphics to help tie in all dimensions of the experience.
Thank you for the great work on both buildings. You were a pleasure to work with and were exactly right on how to create the wrap. Glad I trusted you.
