You know, for being 95 years old, the NFL still looks great. At least, that’s what millions of football fans thought when they tuned into the live broadcast of the NFL’s Kickoff in Seattle. With nearly 50,000 square feet of dye-sublimated jersey mesh, bluemedia sports event graphics scored big with fans at CenturyLink Field.
The lights, the cameras, the players, the action, it was an exciting start for the season opener between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. Seattle’s own Grammy Award-winning band, Soundgarden, kicked off the event, along with Grammy Award-winning singer, song-writer and producer Pharrell Williams. For the concert sites and sponsor areas, bluemedia delivered and installed more than 25,000 sq. ft. of fence covers and another 25,000 sq. ft. of bike barricades. This included a relaxing, exclusive VIP area, as well as custom-produced bar graphics.
Our six field installers worked tirelessly to get everything looking perfect before the news crews and guests arrived. The presenting sponsor for the event, Xbox, along with several top-tier sponsors, including Bud Light, Bridgestone, Lenovo, Snickers, Pepsi, Verizon and Visa, were included in the stadium signage and event graphics that were produced. We were also proud to be a part of the Pepsi Eve Event at Seattle’s EMP Museum, a leading-edge, nonprofit museum, dedicated to the ideas and risk-taking that fuel contemporary popular culture. Large format printing included brightly lit, colorful exterior signage, as well as UpStares Media’s patented adStep® graphics.
Additionally, we brought the fun and excitement of the game to the viewing party and Legends Community Lounge at the Hyatt Olive 8, which included stunning interior graphics featuring classic/vintage player photos, as well as window graphics and exterior signage which brought modern player-themed images to life.
Thank you for the great work on both buildings. You were a pleasure to work with and were exactly right on how to create the wrap. Glad I trusted you.
