In January 2016, the innovative and family-owned golf company, PING, released a new set of G30 clubs equipped with turbulators. The benefit of the new clubs comes from the quality design, improving airflow around the club head. This allows for a quicker and more precise swing. With a tight timetable and high expectations, PING knew just where to turn to get the word out. bluemedia created custom sprint van graphics for the six vans used in the PING marketing campaign.
PING had a very specific look in mind, involving club visuals as well as the specific brand colors. bluemedia set out to make sure everything was perfect. After several creative sessions and a round of approval, the vehicle wraps were installed locally at bluemedia’s Tempe-based headquarters facility.
A team of four installers worked on each of the six vans for 12 hours, with the total installation time coming out to 72 hours. During the installation process, bluemedia also created a time-lapse video to be used as part of PING’s national marketing campaign.
After the project was completed, the newly wrapped PING vans were ready to hit the road. They can now be seen traveling and promoting the new G30 clubs all over the nation. It was an exciting and rewarding experience to be a part of a large-scale marketing launch for such a respected and successful company.
