Southwest Airlines Brings A Bit Of Hollywood To A Hangar In Experiential Event

When Southwest Airlines wanted to introduce a modern look to its iconic brand, they brought in bluemedia experiential event acquisition, Digital Media Etc., to unveil the new brand to the airline’s cherished employees at its own hangar at Dallas Love Airport.

After eight weeks of careful planning, and with more than 4,000 employees and dozens of media outlets on-hand, Hangar 5 came to life using multiple 35,000 lumen projectors, state of the art proprietary mapping software, and concert-quality sound to create a pure and powerful 3D projection experience that covered more than 13,000 square feet. It was the world’s first immersive 3D/4D projection experience featuring a life-size, virtual airplane in a real-life hangar.

The airline further reported that within the first hour of the video’s launch, of their 46,000 employees, more than half watched the streaming video online and shared it via social media. Check it out for yourself below!
